Community Health Worker Salary-Low 30's Negotiable depending on education and experience. Full time 40 hours per week. (Some Flexible hours) No Remote Work.

Service Region: Dunklin, Pemiscot, New Madrid, Mississippi, Scott counties

This position plays an important role in supporting education, marketing, outreach, enrollment and recruitment for the Healthy Start and the Medicaid Expansion programs. Enjoys working with families and the ability to effectively work with a team and independently. Experience in facilitating meetings, virtual platforms, and knowledge of HIPPA compliance.

Participates in partnership activities in the Bootheel communities and knowledge of community resources, with skills in building community relationships. Experience working with volunteers or mentorships, community resources, individual and family advocacy, and health education.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree, or some college in related field preferred but not required. 1 + years of experience working in community outreach preferred. Experience may be considered in place of education. Interpersonal and public speaking skills. Organization, time management, Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Requires travel in program region, reliable transportation with valid insurance and driver's license a condition of employment.
