Community Relations and Development Director
St. Luke Lutheran Community, a not-for-profit leader in the senior care industry, is searching for an experienced Community Relations and Development Director. Job responsibilities include planning, implementing, directing and evaluating the procedures and activities relating to all phases of community relations, fundraising and development. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a favorable public image for St. Luke Lutheran Community and its related entities to include St. Luke Lutheran Community North Canton, Portage Lakes, Minerva and St. Luke Foundation.
We are looking for an intrinsically motivated professional with a high attention to detail and creativity, who has significant experience with website development, social media management, print material creation and fundraising/special event management. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is essential. Must be able to professionally and effectively collaborate with a wide range of individuals both internally and in the community. The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently is essential. Experience in the senior care industry preferred. Occasional evening and weekend work.
