Detailed Job Duties

• Drive tractor with 53’ reefer trailer
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working order, including but not limited to tires, brakes, lights, etc.
• Maintain proper safety standards for the vehicle while driving it
• Perform pre-trip inspection of the trailer before leaving and inspect the engine compartment prior to departure or pick up as needed
• Check fluid levels on truck during trip when necessary
• Report any unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• 2 years recent, verifiable OTR experience
• Class A CDL
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Good time management skills
• No more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years
• No reckless driving or DUIs in last 5 years
• Smartphone
