Job description
As a Trex Compensation Analyst, you’ll administer and provide analytical support for Trex compensation programs.
As a member of our Human Resources team, you’ll be helping us with day-to-day compensation administration; developing cost estimates, analyzing the financial impact of compensation programs, and monitoring trends to keep programs in alignment with best practices to support the attraction, retention, and engagement of qualified talent.
DUTIES
- Administer compensation policies and programs, including base pay, bonus, commission, employee stock purchase and long-term incentive plans, while providing technical expertise on all such matters.
- Develop cost estimates regarding the financial impact of compensation programs and actions.
- Monitor trends in the competitive market and ensure programs continue to align with organizational objectives and best practices.
- Conduct market pricing efforts of both salaried and hourly compensation practices in order to most accurately guide the merit review and promotional processes.
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to develop job descriptions.
- Determine appropriate salary grade and FLSA status.
- Provide analytical services for various compensation programs and projects to ensure their objectives are carried out in an effective, efficient, and timely manner. This will include data management, audits, reporting and interaction with members within and outside of HR.
- Provide training to various stakeholders including employees, supervisors and managers on all compensation- related matters.
EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources is required along with three years’ previous experience in administration of compensation environment. A Certified Compensation Professional designation is preferred, but if you’ve worked as a Compensation Specialist, we'd like to hear from you.
