About This Opportunity:
The Compensation Analyst supports the efforts of the compensation function for enterprise-wide compensation data management initiatives. This position will assist with the design, implementation, administration, and ongoing evaluation of InComm’s compensation programs. The incumbent partners with HR Directors and their customers to analyze base pay management, incentive/variable pay and job analysis to support the attraction and retention of top talent. This position has a systems orientation and works to maintain compensation data management tools and data integrity that support the facilitation of market pricing data and focal point activity for incentive payments.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical support for the compensation function including compensation plan administration, data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Provide analysis of jobs and evaluation documentation to ensure the compensation programs are both equitable internally and competitive externally within the marketplace
  • Coordinate and validate all relevant results and payouts from internal partners to pay incentives efficiently and accurately
  • Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; develop and research appropriate solutions
  • Maintain compensation system database/tools
  • Maintain the quality and integrity of the employee database related to all aspects of compensation
  • Partner with key resources to build project plans adhering to timelines and specifications
  • Manage the creation, review, testing and implementation of quarterly and annual focal point incentive payout activity
  • Document and develop process and procedure
  • Train new system users
  • Train clients on new process/functionality
  • Provide compensation analysis and data management support for special projects including acquisitions and divestitures, reorganizations, job leveling, job hierarchies, internal and external audits, new government-mandated changes, etc.
  • Assist with validating and developing accurate job descriptions
  • Specific duties may vary depending upon departmental requirements
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, HR Information Systems, or related field required
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a corporate HR environment required
  • HCMS support software experience required (e.g. UltiPro, ADP, Work Day, PeopleSoft, Taleo, etc.); Specific experience with UltiPro and/or Payfactors preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel (e.g. formula and table generation)
  • Compensation administration experience preferred
  • HR professional certification a plus (i.e. PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)

KSA (Knowledge; Skills; Abilities):

  • Working knowledge of general HR/Compensation best practice
  • Working knowledge of employment law and compliance related to wage and hour programs
  • Demonstrated aptitude for working with data and performing statistical analysis
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage analytical data review with limited direction
  • Excel in troubleshooting general data integrity queries methodically and producing root cause analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to advance project timelines and effectively communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Ability to advance technical/professional knowledge for the compensation function
