SUMMARY
The Manager, Compensation will deliver analytical and administrative solutions to support all USRC compensation strategies. This role will partner with HR and senior leaders to establish and reinforce USRC's compensation philosophy and processes. This role must have a consultant and advisory mindset to articulate pay policies and recommendations. In-depth compensation knowledge and the ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders throughout USRC, including senior leadership, is critical for success. This role must understand compensation impacts the bottom line and improving the Total Rewards landscape that will enable USRC's ability to hire, engage, reward, and retain great employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
- Assist in the develop of compensation structures, salary ranges, job architecture, and conduct job evaluations and market pricing.
- Partner with finance on bonus plans including the accrual and payout
- Own and support the annual merit process, propose merit increase budget, and ensure we have clearly defined processes communicated to all stakeholders
- Participate in and review market benchmark surveys; analyze market data to benchmark and price jobs and develop recommendations for updates to salary structures and bonus targets as appropriate
- Work with internal stakeholders to update compensation policies and procedures, as needed
- Partner with the legal department regarding aspects of compensation including FLSA minimum wage, exempt status, overtime, equal pay, etc.
- Participate in team concepts and promote a team effort; performs duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; degree in finance, accounting, business or another analytical discipline strongly preferred. Combination of education, specialty certifications and experience in related area will be considered in lieu of degree.
- At least five (5) years compensation experience required.
- Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Healthcare compensation experience preferred
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Advanced analytical skills required including Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables).
