Job description
We are looking for a Compliance Analyst II responsible for assisting the Company’s Compliance team with the development, maintenance and execution of the Company’s Compliance Management System (CMS) for the Company’s indirect and direct auto finance and lending operations. This individual will be responsible for supporting the Company’s Compliance Program, which includes a significant amount of time monitoring and testing to help ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws and Company policies and procedures.
As a member of the Compliance Department, the Compliance Analyst II will have the ability and be expected to drive change and positively impact the company by providing feedback to management and recommending actions to minimize compliance and legal risk within a dynamic, growing organization.
What is a day in the life at Flagship as a Compliance Analyst II?

Perform compliance testing and monitoring and risk assessments as assigned- Create compliance testing plans, data requests, testing spreadsheets, and reports
- Support Vendor Management by performing risk assessment analyses
- Assist with Company policy and procedure reviews/updates
- Assisting with regulatory examinations as needed
- Support issues tracking, root cause analyses and drive remediation efforts
- Maintain comprehensive records for all observations and/or findings during the compliance process
- Recommend and implement change and process improvements to the compliance and operational areas to ensure sustained compliance and operational efficiencies
- Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or government documents
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Other duties as assigned
About You:
- Knowledge of UDAAP, TILA, FCRA, Fair Lending, ECOA, FDCPA, SCRA, TCPA, GLB, OFAC, EFT Act
- BS or BA from an accredited college/university
- A minimum of 3 years of back-office experience
- A minimum of 2-4 years of QA, audit, risk, legal or compliance analysis experience with a background in key operational areas, testing experience, report preparation, trend tracking, and analysis
- Strong technical proficiencies in MS Office Suite programs, such as Word and Excel
- Broad, strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems, drive change and develop a range of solutions on multiple issues
- Excellent attention to detail, strong team orientation, partnering and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills that gain the trust and confidence of business management
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, high priority projects with keen attention to detail and within a highly demanding environment
- Compliance-related certifications a plus
