Job description

We are seeking a construction manager at a remote location with an immediate start in Terlingua, TX. We want someone to live on-site and manage the construction and in addition to the salary we will be providing free accommodation and utilities. This is a contract position with the option to move on to other projects once this project is finished.

Job Description:

• Oversee sub-contractors on a construction site
• Keep all sub-contractors on the schedule
• Keep track of all materials and supplies
• Help order materials from vendors
• Help find sub-contractors for various tasks
• Review and update the work progress on a daily basis
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
• Do small tasks and fixes on the construction site
• Live on site. Accomodation will be provided
• The construction has already started and you will be starting immediately
• Project expected to last 6-months with potential to move on to other construction projects in our portfolio
• Free Accomodation and Free utilities

Requirements:

• Must have at least 5-years experience in the construction insdustry
• Must have basic knowledge of all the major trades such as framing, plumbing, tiling, trim, etc.
• Must be a legal US resident and be able to pass a background check
• Must have your own transport. Gas allowance maybe paid
• Profeciency in Spanish language is highly desirable
• No college degree required

Pay: From $5,000.00 per month

• 8 hour shift
