Hogsalt is looking for a Site Superintendent/Construction Manager to join our New York team!

Responsibilities/Job Duties
Ensure project construction is executed correctly to plan- Ensure project construction stays on schedule, and communicate when issues and changes will impact the schedule.
- Manage relationships with general contractors and onsite contractors on a day-to-day basis.
- Possess organizational skills
- Ensure job sites are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe fashion
- Obtain necessary project paperwork, including but not limited to, quotes, invoices, lien waivers, COIs, change order requests,
- Ensure most up-to-date plans and information is on-site
- Work with Construction Director to create an initial project budget and schedule
- Meet with contractors to review the scope and gather quotes and proposals
- Obtain change order requests for approval
- Relay design and build changes appropriately to the construction team as they occur
- Attention to details
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess good time management skills
- Maintains flexibility to changes in the project scope
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction
- Knowledge of practices and procedures of construction and building codes
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Valid auto insurance coverage
