CORE FUNCTIONS:
Conduct daily operations and management of:
- Manage and coordinate content updates and projects to the program website, blog and event platforms
- Manage the digital eNewsletter platform and monthly distribution of three program eNewsletters.
- Create content layouts and work with the design team on mockups for new website additions.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to finalize updates or new additions to the program website.
- Conduct monthly reviews of website and other digital platforms to ensure all content and links are valid.
- Make recommendations to the digital strategist for new and updated content to support evolving needs. This might include identifying content gaps or ways to expand or improve collateral materials that would be of value to the client and/or end user.
- Support the event team with in-person and virtual events including researching event platform capabilities, managing and leading content updates to event platform, and provide event platform data for inclusion into the event after-action report.
- Research technical aspects of virtual event platforms and websites and make recommendations based on government priorities and guidance.
- Coordinate with platform technical teams for assistance and pre-planning for anticipated issues.
- Make recommendations to the event planner for new capabilities to support evolving needs for event management through available platforms.
- Manage the virtual and in-person events and assist the event planner in rehearsals and during live events.
- Collecting and analyzing customer requests, project goals, and responses to project/task-related questions.
- Maintaining and tracking online content.
- Coordinate timelines and requirements across internal and external teams.
- Ability to create and update HTML code for eNewsletter distribution.
- Express vital and critical information to the appropriate audience.
- Update and load website content
- Engage, support, and collaborate with other members of the team, the company and the customer. Exchange ideas and strategies to plan work processes or developmental efforts. Review and provide feedback on developed work or planning.
- Plan, develop, or conduct project tasks by leveraging subject matter expertise. Perform project tasks in accordance with best professional judgment, contract requirements, and established timelines and with the expected level of quality.
- Conduct project-related studies and evaluations, design and implement systems and procedures for analysis and verification, and conduct work simplification and measurement studies. Seek or develop guidance from customer insight and customer-furnished documentation. Coordinate with managers on executing project activities.
- Education: Associate's degree. Experience exceeding the minimum may be substituted for education. Likewise, education exceeding the minimum shown may be substituted for experience.
- Work Experience: 2 years of experience in providing analysis, research, and web-based marketing.
- Principles of web design.
- Principles and methods of human-centered design.
- Principles and methods of user experience and usability.
- Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Principles and processes of content management and relevant systems.
- Terms and concepts commonly expressed in the Armed Services and federal government.
- Administrative and clerical procedures in accordance with the company’s best practices.
- Experience with GovDelivery eNewsletter platform, desired.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
