Position: Marketing Representative

Location: Depew, NY, 14043

Duration: 6 months

Pay rate: $22/hr.

Shift: 1st Shift

Job Description:

• Creates, develops, plans, writes, and edits operational, instructional, maintenance, or test procedures for paper, multimedia, web-based publications, and user sites; may produce content for embedded user assistance technology.

• Researches and translates technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for non-technical and technical users.

• Recommend formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.

• Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.

• Write clear, simple content that speaks to customers in their language.

• Collaborate openly and effectively with a range of stakeholders, including writers and subject matter experts.

• Successfully negotiate project schedules, plans, and milestones.

• Online content writing using SEO and social media guidelines.

• Understand how regulations, laws, and standards influence content design.

• Maintain documentation to support quality and regulatory process requirements.

• Assist in handling marketing expenses and purchase orders for external media and content vendors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Exceptional writing skills in technical communications

• Service manual authoring experience

• Experience working with cross-functional project teams.

• Knowledge of software technologies used for writing, publishing, and document control, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)

• Familiarity with AP Style

• Experience with Content Management Systems (such as WordPress) is preferred.

• Experience with Adobe InDesign (or similar) is preferred.

• Experience in working with Project Management software (Asana, Basecamp, Trello, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: Up to $22.00 per hour
