(Contract) Virtual Patient Concierge
The Virtual Patient Concierge role at pMD is on the front lines of providing an unparalleled experience for our patient customers without speaking a word. This is a customer service role that focuses on supporting patient users as they navigate their health care needs. We're looking for a tech savvy and empathetic listener who understands how to connect with clients and create a personal elevated experience via chat. Work on your own schedule; support shifts are offered 24/7, so you have the flexibility to sign up to work as much or as little as you want.
Responsibilities include:
- provide responsive, best in class live customer support to patient users by typing text that a voice-bot will speak
- provide concierge-level support to patients on a variety of requests like online registration with their medical practice, appointment scheduling, new doctor research, and more to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. You are empowered to do it all so the sky’s the limit!
- communicate with a sense of humor, patience, and empathy, and remain unruffled when interacting with frustrated patient users
- internet resourcefulness; ability to research a variety of subjects and provide quality insight quickly
- locate and connect patients with service providers to fulfill requests that fall outside of the pMD service offering
Requirements include:
- minimum 2 years of experience in a virtual concierge or personal assistant roles in a corporate, healthcare, or hospitality setting
- exceedingly clear, concise, and thorough written communication
- must type at least 50 WPM
- demonstrated ability to succeed working from home
- must have reliable access to a personal desktop computer and strong internet connection
- able to start immediately
- reside in the U.S.
This is a 1099 contractor position. Hourly rate: $29 / hour
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a precondition of employment.
