Contracts specialist
- Contract specialists assist with managing client’s contracts in a manner that maximizes value for client, clients and vendors.
- Must be capable of managing contracts including subcontracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and client business requirements.
- Monitors outstanding contracts to ensure satisfactory progress, to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the contract, and to identify problems.
- Negotiates contract modifications and the terms with the upper management.
- Identify contracts and commercial risks and issues and propose appropriate mitigation strategies or solutions for approval.
- Escalate matters in a timely and controlled fashion (in accordance with prescribed guidelines) and ensure affected parties are notified in an appropriate manner.
- Excellent written and verbal skills. High level of accuracy with close attention to detail and excellent proof-reading skills.
- Well-organized, able to establish priorities, meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks and function with minimal supervision.
- Takes ownership and personal responsibility to achieve results.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years previous contracts reading/writing experience required.
- 3-5 years staffing contracts a plus.
- Detailed knowledge of contract administration principles along with project management skills.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and able to communicate effectively with executives, clients, and vendors.
- Strong negotiating skills
- Experience in managing large, complex contracts.
- Understanding of financial accounting rules
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, internally and externally.
- Previous B2B industry experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of general commercial contracting regulations and principles.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
