Key Responsibility Areas
1. Manage, staff, organize, & lead accounting department to ensure efficient & accurate financial
operations including A/R, A/P, financial reporting, tax & legal compliance, payroll, and some
basic HR functions
2. Produce timely & accurate accounting & financial reports
3. Interpret financial data to produce meaningful, insightful, and actionable analysis &
recommendations to Sales, Operations, and HR management teams
4. Ensure profitability & manage company cashflow to maintain corporate funding reserves for
both day-to-day and future company operations
5. Actively participate in executive leadership through effective departmental management,
interdepartmental collaboration, and corporate strategic management
Expected Outcomes (3-9 Months)
1. Reduce time cycle from work order completion to invoice; Ensure 95% of all billable WO's are
invoiced each month
2. Reduce close cycle from 20 days to 10 so that closed financials are consistently delivered on
the 12th business day of the following month
3. Reduce time required to process A/P and A/R invoices
4. Make adjustments to accounting team necessary to optimize performance (part-time, fulltime, release, hire, mentor, etc.)
5. Implement budgeting and forecasting system for P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow to track
progress against the business plan throughout the year
6. Establish credibility, trust, and relationship with Operations team for future mutual
identification of profitability enhancement opportunities.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business,
- 10 years total of accounting experience; A minimum of 5 of these years must be management
P&L control and hiring/termination privileges
- The ideal candidate will have accounting management experience in a company/industry
through a network of third-party subcontractors)
- Experience managing a high-volume accounting department processing thousands of
- Accounting/Finance certifications are a plus
