Dietary Cook/Prep Cook (Full-Time, morning shift, day shift and evening shift available)

***1.5x base rate on weekends you work!***

Luther Manor Nursing Home is a skilled nursing facility in the Hannibal, MO. We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Cook/Prep Cook. Candidates applying must be flexible and available to work varying shift times, as well as weekends and/or holidays. Experience in a long-term care facility or hotel setting is preferred. We are looking for dedicated, respectful and hardworking candidates who are willing to ensure our residents' dietary needs are met. Responsibilities include:

• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
• Work with health care staff to ensure appropriate nutrition for each resident.
• Help maintain accurate food inventories
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
• Able to read and follow standardized recipes
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
