STATUS: Full Time

Position Summary:

This position will effectively coordinate exceptional experiences for guests by maintaining the campus visit database and communication, providing presentations, and ensuring an excellent tour experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain CRM, the scheduling system for campus visits.
  • Maintain thorough data on visits, including numbers by category, yield results (applied, enrolled, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain effective tracking system that provides an overview of campus visits and preparing quarterly reports.
  • Creating and compiling post-visit survey and accumulation of data for future analyzing
  • Responsible for making suggested improvements, etc. for campus visit web pages on the University site, regularly visit other University web sites to research strategies, etc. as it relates to promoting campus visits online.
  • Provide support to the daily admission presentation (and tours if needed)
  • Provide support to the admissions events in conjunction with the Associate Director for Campus Events
  • Participate in Admissions events including, but not limited to, Open Houses, Campus Visits, Scholarship Competitions, Accepted Student Day, and New Student Orientations.
  • Supervises and manages trainings, scheduling, office duties and special events for our student group, Camel Crew, in conjunction with the Associate Director for Campus Events
  • Provides support for front desk.
  • Perform various tasks related to support for events.
  • Provide backup for numerous daily support functions.
  • Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including, but not limited to; Title IX, Information Security, FERPA, and all federal and state mandates.
  • Other job-related duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree, preferred, not required
  • Experience in a higher education or non-profit sector desired

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time management
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all groups through both oral and written channels.
  • Strong public speaking skills are desirable
  • Comprehensive computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilize new and emerging technology.
  • Familiarity with Campbell University and its various departments.
  • Ability to interpret and explain University rules, regulations, and policies in specific admissions cases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard methods of digital communication, including web/text/chat platforms.
  • Familiarity with utilizing social media platforms.
  • Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy, and discretion in dealing with trustees, faculty, staff, students, high-level university officials, and the public.
  • Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people.
  • Exercise good judgment in complex, new, and/or stressful situations.
  • Manage multiple, concurrent projects, while paying attention to detail and meeting set deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to work in a changing environment.
  • Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours.
  • This position demands accuracy, honesty, integrity, and the ability to work within the Christian mission of Campbell University.
