Job Purpose: Under the direction of the SVP of Songwriter Services and the VP of Creative Administration, the Coordinator will maximize effectiveness and efficiency by providing general administrative assistance and creative support.
What You’ll Do:
  • Perform general administrative activities including screening calls, directing inquiries and determining the proper course of action
  • Create decks and presentations
  • Assist with creating various weekly and monthly email blasts to internal teams
  • Search through our vast catalogue of songs to create playlists by songwriter, decade, genre, theme, etc
  • Work with our DSP partners like (Spotify, Apple Music and more) to provide information on our songwriters for various playlist and social media promotions
  • Complete research projects about songwriters
  • Enter music and data into our global pitch system
  • Gain information from all possible industry sources to update important information related to songwriter/artist catalogue sales and signings, and relay that information
  • Deliver an extraordinary level of high quality and professional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Follow and closely watch all SMP catalogue artists and songwriters for updates and general information that could be promoted through SMP’s social media platforms
  • Update and maintain contacts
  • Help to manage calendar for SVP, Songwriter Services
  • Work closely with a travel agent to provide a seamless travel experience for complex and detailed travel plans and itineraries, including flights, hotel accommodations, car service and more in accordance with company policy
  • Manage, process and track expense reports once per month in accordance with the SMP T&E policy
  • Creating workflow charts
  • Creating outstanding writer song list
  • Assist with research on new Chart Activity entries
  • Assist with compiling writer splits

  • 7.5-hour business workday but variations in work volume frequently require extended working hours for evening and late-night events

  • The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $41,000 - $46,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
