POSITION: Coordinator, Team Services (Seasonal)

About the XFL

The XFL is a fan-first, fast-paced global professional football league featuring innovative rules and an

enhanced 360-view game experience. Led by owners Dany Garcia, Dwayne Johnson, and Gerry

Cardinale's RedBird Capital Partners, the XFL will bring entertainment to world-class football with the

goal of advancing the game and expanding player opportunities. Kicking off in February 2023.

About the Position


The XFL is seeking a seasonal coordinator (February-June) to join the Team Services group within the

league to liaise between the League's business operations departments and all eight teams to implement

best practices and create opportunities while curating each market’s unique demands. The focus of this

group is on all aspects of business operations including ticket sales and services, sponsorships, marketing

and digital, communications and game day experience. The position will report to the Sr. Manager, Team

Services.


What you will do

  • Work directly with teams on a daily basis to support and help manage day to day business

operations for each of the XFL’s eight teams.

  • Gather best practices and create and share insights between the league and all teams.
  • In season, support league and team activations, game day operations and fan experiences.
  • Maintain calendars and consolidate information from across the eight teams.
  • Traffic information to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Conduct research.
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop community focused engagement initiatives to promote

team and league awareness and build a unique fandom in each city.

  • Support the SVP, Team Services and VP, Marketing in a variety of tasks including administrative

work and scheduling.

  • Execute special projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What you will bring

  • 1-2 years of relevant project management, marketing, sponsorships and/or operations

experience.

  • Ability to work well with multiple stakeholders across the company, vendors, and sponsors.
  • Capable of meeting tight deadlines and balancing multiple tasks.
  • Experience in the sports and entertainment industries preferred.
  • Can handle high stressful situations with a calm approach.
  • Problem solver with little guidance.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and extremely detail oriented.
  • Proficiency in Google Doc and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, positive attitude, team player!

Additional Details

  • Please note, the location of this role is flexible.
  • Seasonal position from February-June.
  • Primarily works in a remote office, but may be required to attend select games and events in

XFL team markets and to be determined locations.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Travel required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.
  • Must be able to lift 15+ pounds at times.
