Position Summary:

The Copywriter is responsible for writing engaging marketing copy that supports The brand, sales, marketing, and lead-generation campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Writing original and innovative marketing and sales promotional copywriting including emails, landing pages, social media posts, collateral, web copy, newsletters, scripts, brand messaging and other promotional copy.
• Works collaboratively with Marketing and Member Development teams to write inventive promotional copy for all aspects of outreach campaigns to grow membership, event registration, and other campaigns.
• Develop and write original copy and headlines and selects appropriate images for key newsletters, webcasts, and other campaigns.
• Develop engaging content for multiple media and formats that provides valuable and relevant insights to increase engagement with key target audiences focused on the CEO.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of three years of work experience in marketing and/or equivalent custom publishing or content marketing background.
• Ability to write engaging, innovative, and original content into lively prose for various audiences.
• Proficiency in writing and editing a variety of formats including marketing materials, promotional copy, web copy and sales materials.
• Good understanding of and interest in wide range of business and economic topics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain client relationships (internal and external), and comfortable collaborating.
• Self-directed, detail oriented, good project, time, and people management skills, ability to split focus and share workload.
