Minimum 1 year experience in Facilities Maintenance

PSI hires for select Josephine County positions. We are currently seeking a facilities maintenance person to take care of County buildings

Requirements of the Building Maintenance Worker

• Valid drivers license

• Pass a Background check // drug test

• Able to troubleshoot building systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC

• Good communication, written and verbal

• Able to perform scheduled maintenance

Responsibilities of the Building Maintenance Worker

• Repairs and replaces parts in electrical circuits of buildings and equipment; install conduit and pulls wires; replaces ballasts, switches, and plugs; installs lights and equipment.
• Repairs and maintains heating and air conditioning systems, including belts, motors, bearings, and boilers.
• Installs new water lines and hot water heaters; repairs valves and water leaks. Clears and unclogs plumbing lines. Install filter and regulators; repair and replace circulation pumps, well pumps, and regulators.
• Performs carpentry work, including installing or removing walls, doors, windows, and floors.
• Builds cabinets, bookcases, shelving, and furniture.
• Diagnoses and repairs appliances such as stoves, ovens, garbage disposals, and related kitchen equipment.
• Removes and pours concrete for sidewalks, retaining walls, and curbing.
• Performs fabrication and welding work such as screen dividers, steel plates, handrails, and flag poles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.19 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
