Position Summary:
Collaborates with the Assistant Dean of Interprofessional Education (IPE) to create comprehensive (IPE) programming for CPHS programs that includes the School of Medicine and other Campbell University Colleges and programs. Manages all aspects of programming and office management. Serve as IPE liaison and trains and educates participants, speakers, community partners and colleagues on various platforms of online programming. This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills along with technological skills that are either advanced or easily self-acquired.
Essential Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports the development of engaging IPE student programming for both didactic and experiential curricular requirements for all CPHS programs.
- Constructs and manages registration process, creates guidance documents and orientation, and coordinates scheduling of classrooms, creates student and faculty schedules for all IPE events that can include upwards of 900 students, faculty and staff.
- Interfaces with Public Relations and Communications regarding maintenance and advancement of a CUIPE presence on a variety of platforms, including the Campbell University website, social media, and various print sources. This includes recurrent editorial writing and reporting of IPE events, programming, and achievements, as well as creating engaging social media posts.
- Engages with a wide variety of personnel including faculty members, staff members, students, college and university administration members, community partners, guests of the university in order to effectively represent the Office of Interprofessional Education.
- Promotes and advances the principles of interprofessional collaboration and communication while maintaining a professional and positive representation of the IPE Office and the College and University in general.
- Provides general department budget, procurement, payment and recordkeeping functions.
- Collaborates closely with the Assistant Dean of Interprofessional Education to execute the annual strategic plan of the IPE Office and assess accreditation standards of CPHS and CUSOM programs.
- Supports the CPHS professional support staff model of working together
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

- Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including, but not limited to; Title IX, and Information Security including FERPA and other state and federal guidelines
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in education desirable, certification and/or professional experience
- 3-5 years previous experience (higher education desired)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively to all groups through both oral and written channels
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Comprehensive computer skills, with the ability to learn and utilize new and emerging technology
- Knowledgeable regarding Qualtrics, BlackBoard, Canva, and Egnyte
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and standard methods of digital communication, including web/text/chat platforms
- Proficiency in utilizing/administering social media platforms
- Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy and discretion in dealing with faculty, staff, students, high-level university officials and the public, in addition to alumni, the IPE community at large, programs as individual entities, and the greater University and surrounding community
- Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people
- Exercise independent and professional judgment in complex, new, and/or stressful situations
- Manage multiple, concurrent projects, and meet strict deadlines
- Adaptable, flexible and a willing to work in a changing environment
- Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours, and/or occasional travel; including overnight stays
