The credentialing assistant will organize, maintain, and verify all aspects of the process, and maintain current practitioners' files. They track the expiration of certifications to maintain up-to-date files and assist health plan providers and customers with phone inquiries.
Responsibilities:May include any and/or all of the following:
- Making phone calls
- Photocopying, scanning, faxing, and emails
- Responds to written inquiries through correspondence and/or email
- Preparing and sending outgoing mailings and packages
- Update and maintain expirable documents
- Updating and maintaining databases
- Maintain neat and accurate records utilizing Verity software
Education and Experience
- Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office
- Proficient in use of email and internet
- Accurate keyboard skills
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
