Primary Responsibilities

• Drive a rigorous and disciplined credit analysis process; contribute to the development and enhancement of robust credit analysis processes
• Assess transaction structure, industry/political/regulatory risks and mitigation strategies to present conclusions and recommendations
• Support the identification, assessment, integration and ongoing management of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors into our credit research process
• Ensure compliance with all delegated authorities and risk parameters while demonstrating an understanding of the risk management framework
• Provide timely and thoughtful input into the review of processes and policies, as well as required user-acceptance testing activities
• Support portfolio managers in client relationship and business development activities by using high degree of business acumen and credit expertise
• Build and maintain highly effective relationships within Fixed Income, across Group Investments, and with Group and divisional stakeholders
• Support team in the provision of relevant information for report generation; ensure provision of information to meet client needs with timely, consistent and high-quality standards
• Participate in and contribute to investment committee and diverse forums

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

6 years relevant experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience with a focus on fundamental credit analysis in banking or credited analysis related experience within the insurance or financial industries preferred
• Experience with structured products
• Fixed income knowledge preferred

Preferred Licenses/Certifications
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Preferred Knowledge

• Background information and proven ability and interest to investigate, analyze, understand markets / political / regulatory / institutional developments, as well as organize findings and build presentations
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and programming

Compensation

Base pay offered will vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location and business needs

Annual Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000
