Job Description

U.S Bank has an opportunity available on the Equipment Finance team.

In this role, you will learn and develop a technical foundation to provide credit review and underwriting decisions for small, less complex equipment finance deals in a high-volume, production environment.


Accountabilities include:

  • Conducts credit reviews by gathering, analyzing and interpreting credit information on existing and prospective customers
  • Inputs the data gathered into tracking and/or reporting computer systems and/or databases.
  • Monitors customer accounts and/or loan portfolios in order to identify potential issues and thereby maximize credit quality and minimize the company’s credit risk and potential loss.
  • Sets up and maintains databases used to analyze accounts and/or portfolios.
  • Prepares and presents credit reports to person(s) responsible for maintaining control over the credit standings of individual accounts and portfolios and for making lending decisions on new, renewal and extension loans.
  • Provides information relative to credit inquiries to appropriate parties.

This position will be located in the Marshall, MN office. We offer a hybrid work arrangement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Up to two years of experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Basic knowledge of credit and risk analysis, economics, accounting, and finance
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
