Job description

We are looking for an individual who can quickly learn a new craft and prepare delicious meals according to the menu. An excellent candidate must have passion for food and delight in being a part of curtailing a wondrous experience for our customers. They should also have relatively sound multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking
• Cook food in various cookware
• Check food to prevent overcooking
• Ensure presentation is standard (great) and consistent
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Monitor stock and notify manager timely when there are shortages

Skills

• Basic cooking ability
• Novice experience in using cutting tools and cookware
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, sautéing, boiling etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a team
• Very good communication skills
• Sufficient physical condition and stamina
• Middle school graduation required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
