Educational and Religious Non-ProfitSeeking a Part Time Evening/Weekend Custodian to help maintain the cleanliness of McGregor Baptist Church. This position performs routine cleaning and classroom setups most evenings. This position works approximately 25 hours per week; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, hallways, stairwells, and other areas.
Set up classrooms with tables and chairs for school and church events.
Empty trash from all the buildings and properly dispose of it.
Mop and vacuum different areas of the buildings.
Requirements/Physical Demands
Custodial experience is preferred.
Punctuality and reliability is a must.
Be able to work the required schedule.
Be self-motivated and detail oriented.
Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions in English.
Ability to work well in a team environment with other employees.
Must be able to continually lift up to 50 pounds.
Continual standing and walking during shift.
Will be using normal cleaning chemicals.
