Job description
Oversee and manage Inside Sales Specialists team. Work closely with VP Sales to forecast sales and analyze inventory and sales data. Communicate with all departments concerning forecast, manufacturing demand, stocking and non-stocking items, sales analysis, rebates, commissions, inventory, open and shipped orders, and WIG summaries. Support Sales Department with training on the on-line store and various CRM activities for employee and customers, as necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for completing the GFCP forecast projections and evaluating sales verses projection periodically.
- Manage all forecast areas and assure integrity of forecast in MRP/CRM, or equivalent.
- Monitor incoming sales orders and work with
- Manage all sales analysis information being produced and evaluate where communication is required.
- Communicate with outside departments concerning forecast, accounting (rebate accruals, commissions, and month-end reports), inventory, manufacturing workloads and sales analysis.
- Coordinate set-up and train users of on-line store and assist in the maintenance thereof.
- Direct and manage inside sales team according to GFCP processes and policy.
- Review RSM Call-Reports (or their equivalent) for pertinent information that would result in modification of product forecasts and adjust it accordingly.
- Act as an intermediary between Sales with IT as needed.
- Assist with various data processing requirements, trouble shooting, and training and implementation issues.
- Provide required sales analysis projects, as requested.
- Act as expert on CRM and ERP/SAP system.
- Work with employees and customers concerning procedures for order processing, forecasting, shipping, invoicing and information system issues.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements.
- Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor.
- Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Knowledge and Skill Requirement:
This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
- Associate Degree in Business required with Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Four (4) years experience in managing a team.
- Two (2) years experience in sales management.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or piping industry strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to manage a team and communicate effectively to all levels of the organization and with customers.
