Commercial Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Albert Palancia Insurance Agency, Inc. in Mamaroneck, NY is seeking a Licensed Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative. The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are to work with the commercial insurance sales and service team to produce new business, service, manage and market renewals.

The ideal candidate will be able to draft certificates of insurance, make policy changes, re-market and rewrite commercial insurance policies.Applicant should be confident and able to deal with the general public in a positive, respectful and professional manner. Maintain a positive and even temperament in the office, be dependable and punctual. Have an enthusiasm for reading, learning and enjoy the creative challenge of developing insurance coverage that is often unique to each commercial client.

Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain good communication within all departments
• Develop and maintain good communication and rapport with all customers
• Document all incoming customer service calls
• Process and document policy changes within agency software
• Generate and market applications to multiple carriers
• Learn all lines of business (Workers Comp, Liability, Commercial Auto, Property, Professional Liability)

Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative Qualifications:

• Property & Casualty Brokers License is required
• Experience in a Customer Service role
• Excellent communicator, strong phone
• handling skills
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Positive personality
• Ability to handle multiple situations at the same time
• Strong analytical skills

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
