Job description
Position Title: Client Services / Customer Service Representative
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. with 1-hour unpaid lunch.
Starting rate is $23.00 per hour. The position is “at-will employment.”
Candidate Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Complete on-site inspections of janitorial services and relay feedback to the working crew.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
- Draft status reports on customer service issues and visits.
- Create proposal drafts for prospective accounts or services and send to the client.
- Check in with site leads/managers regarding the quality of service provided and relay to the crew any feedback given.
- Must report findings to Office Administration via daily notes with corrective measures taken to address the findings.
- Must follow up with the client feedback within 2 weeks and assess whether improvement has been made. If no obvious improvement, follow up with the crew on shift and discuss.
- Guide company personnel through annual employee training and sexual harassment training.
- Ensure customers are satisfied with the janitorial services
- Meet with clients via in-person check-in appointments
- Meet with clients via remote check-in using the “Client Survey”
Qualifications of Candidate:
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Driver’s license required
- A company car will be provided. The candidate should be able to visit various company service sites in Contra Costa County, Napa County, Alameda County, San Francisco County, and Solano County, among others.
- Deliver minor and/or major supply amounts to different accounts
- 90 -days probation period. The candidate will be reevaluated after 90 days. If the candidate does not meet company expectation, they will be removed from the position.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Ability to work independently and manage their own schedule.
- Be willing to adjust to different job duties related to the janitorial service industry.
