Marmon Utility LLC, an operating unit of The Marmon Group - part of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., is a manufacturer of medium and high voltage underground cable from 5KV through 138kV, subsea cable, aerial cable systems, and molded polyethylene insulators. Marmon Utility LLC has more than 200 years of experience in the design, engineering, installation, and service of electric cable, cable systems and polymer insulators.

Job Purpose: Operate machinery to make power cable and prepare for shipping to customer.

CV Operator Qualifications:

• Read/use precision gauges and tools.
• Perform shop math.
• Read/follow written instructions.
• Use computer for simple tasks.
• Strong focus on team work.

CV Operator Job Functions:

• Review documentation/work orders.
• Set up machinery / processes to prepare product.
• Operate machinery.
• Monitor controls, materials.
• Move materials into and out of work area.
• Repair machinery or coordinate repairs with maintenance and engineering.
• Trouble shoot line problems and repair or request assistance as indicated.
• Communicate with supervisor.
• Document processes.
