About the Role: We are looking for a Clinical Data Analyst to join our growing MPD Clinical Affairs Team as we continue to seek new ways of generating and leveraging analytics benefitting the Clinical Affairs function within the Medical Division. The Clinical Data Analyst will be responsible for developing and deploying analytics solutions and managing processes for extraction, transformation, and loading of clinical data. In addition, this role will be expected to partner with Clinical Affairs leadership and the MPD Analytics function to develop required modeling and other types of analysis as needed for Clinical Affairs analytics needs.
This position offers multiple work arrangements: on-site at our Route 66 facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, hybrid or fully remote work allowed in most locations within the United States, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document business requirements for the development of clinical data visualizations and KPIs
Design dashboard layouts, visual analytics, and metrics providing real-time data and insights, meeting the needs of clinical stakeholders
Create, manage and maintain data flows, extracts, and transformations ensuring that all data are accurately rendered, complete, and up-to-date
Create ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed to support Clinical Affairs decision-making
Perform data analyses and interpretation of results, providing data-driven insights and recommendations designed to drive business outcomes
Follow data management best practices and applicable SOPs
Effectively communicate analysis outcomes and recommendations
Maintain compliance with training expectations as required for this position
Perform additional responsibilities as required within the scope of position
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data analytics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or life sciences discipline
- Minimum 2 years of data analysis experience, preferably within clinical research
- Experience with data management, ETL processes, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Denodo, or similar tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel up to 5%
Desired Qualifications:
Medical device industry experience and Automation software (ex. Power Automate)
Experience with SAS, R, or other statistical software
Ability and willingness to learn about Gore's MPD product portfolio, with a basic understanding of the clinical use for products as well as related disease states
- Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. For fully remote roles, the following locations are not eligible for new fully remote work arrangements: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
