Your technical expertise as a Data Analyst I in the area of AWS - S3 buckets, EC2 instances, Python Scripting pandas, numpy and scipy will contribute to our client's innovative therapies which will impact the quality and duration of life.

Job Description:

• Contract position within the Precision Medicine Pathology group. This position will primarily support the PMED pathology scientists by helping with data management, tracking and support infrastructure development.
• Ideal candidates should have experience with large file management, python scripting and JMP/excel expertise in an industry setup.

Job Duties:

• Data Management and tracking
• Help scientist receive images and metadata from the external vendors and research partners.
• Organize, track and keep records of the data received
• Quality check of the data received
• Reconcile the images and metadata for every project
• Identify any gaps and communicate to the scientist and stake holders
• Assist with other day-to-day tasks that require excel/JMP or python scripting support
• Infrastructure development and automation
• Write scripts to automate the workflow where ever possible
• Contribute towards infrastructure development for large file management and data flow.

Skills:

• Strong python scripting experience in writing clean and scalable code. Experience with python packages such as pandas and numpy. Experience with python statistical packages such scipy or R is a strong plus.
• Strong expertise in Excel and/or JMP is ideal.
• Experience with AWS - S3 buckets, EC2 instances is preferred.
• Prior experience with data automation software, such as Zontal space, would be a nice to have.
• Able to work independently within a team setting, High attention to detail, Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Comfortable with shifting priorities. Flexible and adaptable thinking, collaborative and positive.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated these abilities in an industry production environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: Up to $33.00 per hour
