About the Role:
- Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources
- Iteratively improve data platform for greater scalability, optimization of data delivery, and automation of manual processes
- Implement process improvements to support data integrity efforts and system performance
- Demonstrate efficiency in handling data - tracking data lineage, ensuring data quality, and improving discoverability of data.
- Support the Data & Analytics Department to create database designs that meet business needs while optimizing performance
- Create and maintain systems documentation
- Write maintainable, performant code
- Consistently follow standards, guidelines, and procedures for design and maintenance
- Analyze the existing data structures and identify the sources of incoming data to drive source to target mapping and other related artifacts.
- Support the Data & Analytics Department’s development of reference, master, and metadata management; data integration and interoperability; data quality processes; data analytics and reporting capabilities; and data governance.

Who we would like to meet:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
- Generally, 2+ years’ experience in software engineering, data management, and data analytics
- Experience with cloud database platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Good understanding of ETL tool, workflows, and concepts. ( e.g. dbt, data pipelines, data structures )
- Some experience designing and building conceptual and physical database models
- Intermediate software engineering skills
