JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Data Entry Specialist

Purpose of Job

This position supports the Product Manager with the entry of product order into the Point-of-Sale system. This role is critical for ensuring accurate and timely product data entry for our retail locations. This is a part-time position, 15-25 hours per week.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist Product Manager with daily tasks

• Verify product order for accuracy

• Transfer vendor orders into Excel format

• Perform heavy/extensive data clean up

• Enter product orders into Point-of-Sale system

• Update, produce and maintain Excel spreadsheets on an as needed basis

• Travel to assigned locations to assist with tagging, stocking, and organizing merchandise on an as needed basis

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Microsoft Office- Excel, experience required

• Excellent written and verbal skills

• High attention to detail and organization

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Demonstrate professional appearance and demeanor

Physical Demand & Work Environment

• Work in heated and/ or air-conditioned indoor setting

• Able to sit for extended period of time

• Requires use of hands for typing, use of computer, sorting, and filing

• Ability to climb stairs and use hands with repetitive motion

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Austin, TX 78746: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
