Job description
We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Data Manager 3 to work out of Tinker AFB, OK. Supporting the sustainment of the Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS) program office.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRBs) to ensure that only minimum essential data, in its most economical form, is requested, defined, and put on contract.
- Provide advice/guidance to stakeholders on the selection and tailoring of Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), preparation of one-time and standard DIDs, completing Data Management forms, to include a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) (DD Form 1423-1), and coordinate/prepare Data Requirements Substantiation (AF Form 585).
- In the CDRLs themselves, ensure the correct Government Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) markings are applied, to include Distribution Statements, Foreign Disclosure Markings, and Destruction Notices. Subsequently, review data deliverables from the Contractor to ensure the submittals are correctly marked.
- Coordinate with data points of contact and maintain an accurate status of data deliverables submitted by the Contractor, and Government responses back to the Contractor.
- Coordinate with the Master Scheduler to ensure data deliveries are included in the master schedule.
- Coordinate the tracking of data by working with functional data owners to prepare letters of transmittal back to the contractor.
- Maintain an official electronic data archive of all documentation related to data management.
- Brief the management team on data status, to include CDRL development and data deliverable tracking.
- Perform Data Management in Accordance With (IAW) DoD Data and Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) Regulations: 5010.12M, Mil-Std-963, and 5230.24.
- Maintain cooperation and coordination with contractor counterparts.
- Make regular reviews and updates of data management plans and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency with managing DoD data deliverables, including CDRLs, DD1423s, etc.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools, including SharePoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education/ Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years in the discipline, of which 4 years must be in the DoD
