Job description
We are looking to hire experienced Day Porter's at the following locations:
Deer Park, Goodwin Elementary, Midland Park Primary, Northwoods Academy and Stall High School
Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour
Shift(s): 6:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday; Overtime available.
A Day Porter is an employee assigned to perform the overall janitorial services operation at the facility and will be cross trained as a restroom specialist, vacuum specialist, utility specialist, glass specialist, light duty specialist, pressure washing technician and floor technician.
The essential functions of a Day Porter include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Follow safety policies and procedures without exception
- Dusting
- Dust mopping
- Damp mopping
- Emptying trash
- Spot cleaning walls
- Spot cleaning carpet
- Vacuuming carpet
- Cleaning restrooms
- Cleaning glass and desktops
- Performing other similar and related duties as assigned
