About the Team
The federal contracting team operates day-to-day as a small team that liaisons with our client in the financial industry. We rely on excellent communication and teamwork, as we partner cross functionally with other divisions across the agency. We consider ourselves experts in IT support and application development and strive to provide excellent rated services to the federal government. The team consists of a mix of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Web Developers, and other technical resources. We are a growing company, and we look for employees who can think outside of the box to find novel solutions and grow with us.
Role & Responsibilities:
The DB2 Database Lead oversees the DB2 Database platform and possesses at least 7 years of extensive experience and knowledge in:
- DB2 on z/OS (Knowledge of other database platforms preferred)
- DB2 Database architecture, engineering, administration, management, Security
- DB2 configuration for z/OS, Recover and restore, Switchover to Disaster Recovery LPAR, Capacity planning and Health checks
- DB2 troubleshooting, IBM DB2 Performance Tuning, JCL, ENDEVOR, ISPF/TSO, BMC tools suite, REXX
- Process improvement, automation, monitoring and programming/scripting languages
- Knowledge of Cloud Architecture, Cloud Technologies, Cloud Services, Infrastructure as Code ( Knowledge in Azure Cloud preferred)
- Agile and DevSecOps including CI/CD Pipeline
- Resource management and Service level agreements
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

- At least 7 years of relevant experience in each of the roles and responsibilities listed above
- Access to high-speed and reliable internet, and a home workspace
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Eligible for a Security Clearance (or a current holder)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
