Position Summary

This position supports and is responsible for processing the daily card control functions including phone support, application processing, card maintenance and other general card support. This position will also be responsible for daily settlement for various card related transaction processing. The main role of the Card Services Specialist II is to ensure that all card related requests and/or settlement functions are processed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner according to bank policies and procedures. This position also requires heavy phone contact and interaction with internal and external customers.

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Answer inquiries received through OTRS help tickets and participate in Card Services phone queue
  • Monitor daily card order transmissions for errors
  • Enter rush cards into CPI system
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all internal and external software and processes used for debit card
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all Visa regulations
  • Responsible for processing debit card disputes

Digital Skills

Demonstrate the efficient and effective use of digital productivity tools, from basic to advanced, commensurate with specific job requirements, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Skype, dual monitors, chat, and screen sharing, and take precautions against viruses. Interest and ability to learn new applications.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly: sitting, talking, hearing, feeling/touching, vision - close, peripheral, depth, ability to adjust focus
  • Occasionally: standing, walking, climbing and/or balancing, reaching with arms and hands, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, lifting objects up to 30 pounds
