J & I Power Equipment in Olympia, WA has an opportunity for an experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. J & I has been providing Thurston County, and surrounding areas, with unmatched products and service since 1974.We are a family owned business and our mission is to provide quality equipment, at a fair price, to all of our customers.
General Requirements:
- Must be a team player, and easily adjust to change
- Be reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and have a clean driving record
- A CDL is not required, however preferred
- Experience in handling/hauling power equipment is preferred
- Must be willing to work a normal 40 hours per week and longer hours as required to meet customer demands
- Able to Lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs. plus, work outdoors and indoors in all weather conditions
Responsibilities:
- Always provide exceptional customer service and be a positive representative for J&I
- Make deliveries to customers while adhering to all safety procedures
- Load inventory on truck and unload at customer site.
- Transport inventory between Olympia & Yelm location
- Must be willing to complete other tasks/duties as requested
- Complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with company policies and procedure
- Go over operations of new and used equipment
