DENTAL ASSISTANT
Established well known private dental practice is looking for a Dental Assistant who is certified in coronal polishing to add to our stellar team. We provide wonderful care for our patients, and they reward us by referring their families and friends. We work as a team; we have fun, and we accomplish things!
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IS: Well organized, detail oriented and punctual. Self-motivated, takes direction well, able to multitask and help the team when needed. Possesses good communication skills to both patients and the team. We will train the right candidate.

Job Summary: The Dental Assistant (DA) works on behalf of the patient and the dentist helping to assure a high level of professional excellence in oral health care delivery.

- X-Ray Certification (Required)

Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for the delivery of exceptional dental care through the preparation of the treatment room, instruments, and materials, and assisting the dental providers as needed
- The Dental Assistant is the patient’s advocate throughout their dental experience, providing meaningful patient feedback with compassion
- Create a positive memorable, and individualized experience for each patient
- Have the patient feel welcome comfortable, and cared for during their time with us
- Assist in any way possible to increase patients’ knowledge, trust and confidence in the doctors, other team members and services we deliver
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Ensure remarkable sterilization and infection control procedures are followed
- Precisely maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment inventory, and other ancillary duties
- Always maintain cleanliness of the office
- Gather patient testimonials and online reviews
- Setting up the rooms accurately
- Making sure supplies are present
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Take radiographs and intraoral photos as needed
- Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety, and OSHA guidelines
- Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient
- Provide postoperative instructions prescribed and directed by the doctor in charge
- Record treatment information in patient records
- Participate in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service
