Description: HCA Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates for the Dental Assistant position at the Loudoun County Health Department in Virginia. Position is to start 9/01/22 and end in 11/23/22, full-time (40 hours a week).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Performs dental assistant patient care. (Performs four-handed dental assistance, to include diagnostic quality radiographs, teeth cleaning, fluoride and sealant application, and oral hygiene instructions.)
• Prepares operatory for procedures. (Disinfects or sterilizes equipment and environmental surfaces according to Exposure Control Plan; prepares operatory for upcoming procedures and seats the patient; and dismisses the patient and cleans up the operatory.)
• Schedules patients. (Schedule patients; checks WebVision to ensure patient is in the system and has current eligibility before giving an appointment; maintains patient records and call lists; and makes sure all charts are complete with financial information and that HIPAA and UAE forms are signed.)
• Maintains supplies and dental equipment. (Maintains inventory of dental supplies sufficient to meet needs.)
• Provides customer service. (Serves patients with care and proper attention.)
• May perform other essential job functions specific to the position and department assignment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; two (2) years of related dental assisting experience with four-handed dentistry and receptionist work

• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license
