Eastway Behavioral Healthcare is looking for a Deputy Director for The Heritage of Hannah Neil Residential Treatment Center. This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the team.The Deputy Director reports to the Director of Hannah Neil Residential. The Deputy Director develops and promotes a culture that represents service excellence to the kids served and our employees at Hannah Neil.

The Heritage of Hannah Neil includes a residential treatment program for boys and girls aged 5 to 11. We are committed to working with children and families so that they are strong, connected, and have the support necessary to overcome life’s challenges. We treat these children for their trauma induced behavior health issues and emphasize safety, problem solving, collaboration and growth.

The Deputy Director responsibilities include:

  • Supervise the Direct Care staff.
  • Interview and offer Direct Care positions to ensure staffing levels are maintained.
  • Coach, train, and mentor others to provide great service to our clients. Showing them how to effectively care and perform the job.
  • Ensure that services achieve treatment outcomes and contractual requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring overall census meets the needs of the operating budget.
  • Market the program to new referral agencies and maintain relationships with current agencies. Serves as the primary point of contact in communications with all referral agencies.
  • Promote team cohesiveness by initiating and participating in daily interactions and activities with the team of staff members providing direct care.
  • · Create a healing environment that respects the perspectives and experiences of the individuals, families, staff and communities we serve by practicing safe communication and respecting boundaries.
  • Develop monthly,quarterly, and annual Quality Improvement reports as specified in the Quality Improvement Plan.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or higher preferred in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation, Nursing, related field OR 5 years residential experience in a youth residential setting.
  • Prior experience in a residential facility.
  • Prior experience with children.
  • Prior leadership or management experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift and respond to issues as they occur.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
