Position Overview:

  • Provide end-user Helpdesk support for Edison Energy across all US time zones
  • Maintain desktop and laptop equipment, peripherals and other IT related hardware
  • Diagnose, replace, upgrade and repair hardware issues
  • Provide end-user application and software support
  • Administer endpoint cybersecurity systems
  • Maintain company-issued mobile devices as well as employee BYOD
  • Administer mobile service providers, costs and plan features
  • Administer Teams communication and collaboration platform
  • Maintain Office 365 accounts, access, reconciliation, and licensing
  • Maintain IT assets and equipment inventory
  • Provide web conference and local conference room support
  • Coordinate device warranty repairs and replacements


Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in an applicable professional, business or technical discipline (preferred)
  • Certifications are a plus (Microsoft preferred)
  • Three to five years of experience in Microsoft Cloud technologies such as: Office 365, Azure AD, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Endpoint Manager (Intune)
  • Three to five years of experience providing remote Help Desk support:
  • Procuring and trouble-shooting computers and peripherals
  • Enterprise Mobility Management and managing mobile service providers
  • Cybersecurity systems such as endpoint, patch management, email security

  • Strong Help Desk customer service skills
  • Ability to logically and methodically breakdown and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work independently on aggressive schedules
  • Must work well in a dynamic environment and comfortable with adapting to changing business needs
  • Must work well in a remote team environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Moderate lifting of computers and IT related equipment
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Travel to locations across the US as needed
