In search of responsible, hardworking individuals to apply at the Custer County Sheriff's office for a full-time night shift Detention Officer. *We are a drug free workplace...must pass a pre-employment drug screening. *Must pass a criminal background check with no prior felony convictions *High school diploma or GED *Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills *Must have adequate typing and computer skills *Prior experience in a detention setting is given preference, but OJT is a possibility for the right candidate **PLEASE COMPLETE OUR DEPARTMENT APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR INTERVIEW*** Apply in person or download an application off our website: custercountysheriff.com ***12 hour shifts, off every other weekend.
