Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Ultrasound Tech, RVT/RVS

Description:

  • 1099 Contractor Position
  • Perform arterial duplex's, relay findings to the NP, create drafts of reports for the Physician to review, edit if needed, and finalize.
  • On occasion, also perform other exams such as venous dopplers and exams to rule out pseudo-aneurysms.
  • Daily volume fluctuates, that said, the RVT/RVS should be able to perform up to 14 high quality, accurate scans per day.
  • The RVT/RVS is an important part of the 3-person Evaluation Team, consisting of the NP, Clinical Specialist (MA), and the RVT/RVS. Together these three skilled healthcare practitioners determine whether the patient has PAD or not, and whether a revascularization procedure is indicated or not.

Requirements:

  • There will be 2-hour long working interview
  • RVT/RVS required.
  • A+ customer service-oriented attitude, charisma, and excellent bedside manner.

  • All employees are expected to perform as an integral part of the PADS team, and to provide supplemental support as requested, required, or assigned.
  • Initial 60-day Compatibility Period (CP) at 80% of full pay rate. Upon completion of this CP, pay goes to 100%.
