We are looking to add a Digital Account Executive to our team! This position is responsible for maintaining, building and exceeding Advertising & Sponsorship revenue goals across Paramount Digital properties. Successful candidates will also demonstrate an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to achieve results, despite obstacles.Overview and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and build account and territory strategies for long-term development and revenue growth
- Be an inspiring leader within the digital community and evangelize Paramount’s unique positioning within the marketplace
- Improve territory Advertising/Sponsorship through management of existing relationships and creation of new advertiser relationships
- Seek out and develop strategic relationships with decision makers, and work directly with clients and their ad agencies to develop custom media programs to suit their specific needs
- Prioritize and lead to ensure proper account management both internally and externally
- Handle a territory quota, set goals and work with management and marketing to strategize on new business opportunities and creative approaches to RFP's
- Set territory sales agenda including prioritizing and organizing sales calls for maximum dollars and handling T&E
- Establish in person relationships with clients by conducting a high volume of face-to-face calls
- Attend industry trade shows and local events to meet clients and cultivate relationships
- Proactively communicate account and sales information to management and other colleagues through regular call reports
- 5+ years of proven advertising sales experience
- BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience preferred
- Sales professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team, goal oriented environment
- Contacts and relationships at key direct clients and agencies within territory
- Have a strong desire to win and grow as a digital ad sales professional
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Well-developed presentation skills
- Ability to handle stress well, and juggle multiple account challenges at once
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $93,000.00 - 106,500.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
