Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Digital Meida Specialist with our client in the entertainment industry located in Burbank, CA.

• 6-month assignment (with the possibility of extension)
• Pay Rate: $35.00 - $38.00/hr
• Hybrid (Monday – Wednesday Onsite in Burbank, CA)

Overview:
Digital Asset Specialist who will track and manage all assets (video, print, digital) that the group creates. This position will also coordinate dissemination of assets to various Domestic and International groups (Digital, Marketing, PR, etc).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Photo editing, clearing, and posting episodic, gallery and key art images to our B2B Site.
• Managing all delivery assets to and from our network counterparts.
• Handling requests from internal departments, field offices and press. Sending and tracking photo gallery approvals.
• Managing department administrative tasks.
• Sending upload links, metadata and file naming conventions to photographers. On- boarding new photographers as needed.
• Archiving all photo assets with proper naming conventions and metadata.
• Supports the photo leads in hiring photographers for episodic coverage.
• Cross functional department support

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience performing the main duties as listed on this job description.
• Previous TV photo marketing and/or publicity experience strongly desired.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred.
• Media and entertainment experience required
• Familiarity with union photographers and rules strongly preferred.
• Basic retouching skills: ability to do perform minor cleanup, color and contrast adjustment a plus.
• Experience with Photoshop is required; familiarity with Adobe Lightroom, Bridge, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus.
• Experience with Digital Fusion a plus.
• Familiarity working on a MAC platform is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Sustained success as a teammate
• Ability to handle a high volume of complex projects and tasks for multiple people and departments while maintaining composure and managing competing priorities.
• This is a creative position with strong project management and production needs.
• Must be able to work efficiently, maintain calm and project an upbeat attitude under pressure. Sense of humor is a plus.
• Must be well organized and able to prioritize while juggling multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly with internal and external partners.
• Must be able to be flexible with hours and work overtime and weekends as required.
• Must be able to handle confidential information.
• Must be willing to work as a team and be available to all in department.
• Must be willing to take initiative.
• Must be able to problem solve.
• Strong contacts in the photography industry.
• Must be hard working, dedicated, and passionate about photography.
• Must possess solid organization, meeting management, effective time management, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a strong editorial sense and understand the relationship of the photography we produce in the larger world of press, marketing and social.
