This is a full time, temporary position with an estimated end date of December 2024.

Summary

Under supervision of the director of marketing, this position is primarily responsible for managing the organization’s digital stories and presenting them in both audio and video formats, generating video files for social media, supporting the Foundation’s video stewardship efforts and supporting virtual events.

Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Work with director of marketing to build and maintain an editorial calendar of long-range and short-range multimedia projects.
• Plan, create, edit and execute digital video productions on a wide variety of topics consistent with organizational objectives: educational, promotional, special announcements, national event videos, fundraising, donor stewardship and member stories.

• Coordinate the filming of video footage.
• Manage YouTube and Vimeo accounts for the Sorority and foundation.
• Generate video content for social media channels.
• Optimize video and multimedia content for search engine optimization (SEO); measure performance of all video and multimedia content.
• Support virtual events by coordinating member and leadership interviews. Coach video participants on best practices for at-home recordings.

• Review all digital content created by volunteers or external vendors to ensure it meets Gamma Phi Beta brand standards.
• Prepare annual budget recommendations.
• Stay abreast of current trends to further the reputation of the organization in the fraternal and nonprofit communities and provide trend analysis upon request.
• In conjunction with other Marketing staff, source member stories to be used in marketing and communications materials.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong working knowledge of social media platforms (Reels, YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok); Creative Suite video editing software (Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro); Creative Suite audio editing software (Adobe Audition); spreadsheet software (Excel); word processing software (Word); electronic mail software (Outlook); Database software (iMIS); Presentation software (PowerPoint).

This position is eligible for full remote work.

Benefits and Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience, education and location. The hiring range for this role is $46,000 to $56,000 annually. Gamma Phi Beta offers a full benefits package with an excellent paid time off package that includes 12 days of vacation plus sick time, personal days, holidays and two weeks of additional paid time off over the office’s winter break.
