Pratt & Whitney’s Digital Technology team is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to lead as a systems analyst for SIOP within the Digital Technology Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team. The individual will be responsible for managing and designing system solutions for Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning and Material Planning that are reusable and scalable across business units and global operations. The scope will include the implementation/enhancement of standard planning processes and an enterprise software solution covering demand/supply planning, inventory optimization, SIOP, and planning simulations across manufacturing and aftermarket organizations.

The candidate will be an integral team member for large- and small-scale advanced planning tool implementations as well as supporting existing SAP solutions.

The candidate will own shared understanding across the project spectrum from high-level business objectives to detailed functionality and will work with developers towards building and validating solutions to meet expected outcomes. The individual selected for this role will work with internal teams as well as external partners including outsources and technology application vendors. This position requires hands-on experience in advanced planning tool, integration knowledge with SAP and non-SAP transactional systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and develop SAP ECC/APO Production planning, Demand planning solutions to fit business and technical objectives.
  • Design, document, and implements the most efficient and cost-effective solution.
  • Coordinates system integration testing based on user or system design specifications.
  • Provide application design guidance and consultation, based on a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
  • Advise business partners on intended and optimal use of the systems and assist with process development.
  • Ensure logic and design is in alignment with the core architecture of the systems / applications.
  • Analyze highly complex business requirements and problems to ensure logic and design is in alignment with the core architecture of the systems / applications.
  • Analyze existing product software and recommends modifications which enhance operating capacity and meet business requirements.
  • Assist in managing expectations with both business and IT stakeholders regarding functionality, scope, and deliverables.

Experience/Required Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience in configuring and supporting process design in SAP Production Planning/MRP, APO Demand Planning and PP/DS and other advanced planning software with strong understanding of the modules
  • Understanding of SAP Master Data related to planning – Material Master, Bills of Materials, Production Versions, Routing, APO master data, SAP CIF
  • Experience in integrating with other SAP modules
  • Have implemented multiple end-to-end life cycle projects
  • Experience with industry standard ERP system implementations (waterfall and agile methodologies).
  • Business domain knowledge about Demand planning, MRP/Supply planning
  • Willingness to learn new technologies & take on new projects to grow experience
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing business environments
  • Ability to lead technical teams or lead projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field with 10+ years’ experience. OR a Master’s degree with 8+ years of related experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government contractual requirements.
  • Strong project management, analytical and technical skills.
  • Highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a solid ability to drive and deliver results.
  • Excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, cultural awareness and professional maturity with executive presentation experience, comfortable interacting with senior executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical experience and a working knowledge in SAP ECC MRP and APO are a highly desired skill set in manufacturing environment
  • Experience in SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Experience/knowledge working in an aerospace environment is highly desirable.

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 236,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
