SpArc is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support and care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in both the Vocational Training Center day program and our Cultural Arts Center day program..

Here's What You'll Do:

The DSP assists adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives with community integration, Cultural Arts and Vocational Training.

Essential Functions

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for program participants as written in Individual Support Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Attend and participate in community outings as scheduled and pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their community outing (if necessary).
• Record an electronic progress note daily for the participants you support.
• Assist the individual with socialization, communication and safety awareness skills.
• You will promote & guide towards independence, health, wellness & quality of life.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Computer Skills
• Good Communication Skills

The Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check, physical, etc.
